The precursor for 'Handsel & Petal' began in January of 2023 as a collaborative project between a couple from Melbourne, Claudia and Joe. Initially, the idea to make greeting cards came as a conduit to showcase the artworks which had been painted by Claudia and Joe together. After trading as 'Art by Claudia and Joe' for over a year, and growing to 30 wholesale stores, the decision was made to start 'Handsel & Petal'. Over time, this next chapter will see us eventually move into the realm of gifts, stationery, and homewares.
